Who is Christ Fellowship?
We are a family who has been gathered by the grace and mercy of the Lord.
We believe the gospel of Jesus Christ has the power to change hearts and lives.
Our Mission & Values
Our Mission:
To glorify and enjoy God as we bear witness to His transforming grace.
Our Values:
Our values are theological foundations which are based on the patterns found in biblical texts such as Acts 2:42-47. These values seek to answer ‘how’ we plan to live out our mission
Declaring the Glory of God
Expressing ourselves together through God’s ordinary means of grace, we declare his glory through a beautiful variety of Reformed worship, trusting Him to transform us through prayer, praise, proclamation of his Word and partaking of the sacraments.
Biblical rationale: Ps. 95; Jn. 4;24; Col. 3:15-16; 1Tim. 4:13; Heb. 10:25, 12:28-29
Delighting in God’s Grace
We believe that the message of God’s grace and our being united to Christ by faith is at the core of Christian identity, and that this living fellowship is the primary fuel and motivation for a Spirit-filled life together with God and his Church.
Biblical rationale: John 15:1-11; Rom. 6:5-11; Gal 2:20, 3:27; Col. 1:27, 3:1
Cultivating Biblical Community
As a community redeemed by grace and walking in the freedom for which Christ has set us free, we desire to know and be known as we grow together through a rich biblical fellowship expressed across a variety of ages, stages and seasons of life.
Biblical rational: Jn. 17:11; Acts 2:42; 2Cor. 13:14; Heb. 10:24-25; 1Jn. 1:6-7
Encouraging Faithful Living
As our union with Christ is strengthened by the Spirit through worship, discipleship, fellowship, and prayer, we seek to be ‘outward facing’, expressing our faith by word and deed as we bear witness to God’s transforming grace in our lives.
Biblical rational: Lk. 24:44-49; 1Cor. 10:31; Col. 3:17; 1Thess. 1:6-10
Ministry Priorities
What do we do?
With our mission as the foundation and our values providing a biblical framework, our priorities guide us in “how we ought to behave in the household of God” (1 Tim. 3:15). Through these priorities, we aim to put faith into action in the life of Christ Fellowship Church.
-
WORSHIP
Believing that corporate worship is a transformative encounter with the triune God, we will encourage our congregation to prioritize regular and faithful attendance each Lord’s Day.
-
GROW
We will build comprehensive discipleship strategies to provide opportunities for believers of all ages to mature in Christ. This will include catechesis, Bible studies, small group studies, Sunday School classes, and occasional seminars and conferences.
-
FELLOWSHIP
We will foster opportunities for multigenerational relationships where believers can encourage and be encouraged, strengthen and be strengthened together through our mutual fellowship in Christ.
-
SERVE
We will promote an ‘every member ministry’ and provide opportunities for our members to discover, cultivate, and use their various gifts to build up the body of Christ.
-
EQUIP
We will encourage and teach believers to cultivate a biblical worldview and seek to help them grow confident in defending and sharing their faith while trusting God’s Spirit to work his sovereign purposes in the world.
-
ENGAGE
Along with providing opportunities for outreach to our community through local missions and mercy ministry, we will encourage our members to have faithful presence in their homes, neighborhoods, communities, schools, and workplaces so that we may be witnesses for Christ in all areas of our lives.

Ways we gather
Worship Service
Our Sunday morning worship services open with a welcome and some announcements, and then we transition to the time of worship. Worship includes singing, corporate and private prayer, affirming of creeds and liturgy of the church, preaching, and a weekly celebration of the Lord’s Supper. We print a detailed worship folder/bulletin each Sunday, so that worshipers can follow along in the service with ease. The center of our service is the preaching of the Word, which is normally done by our senior pastor. Our normal practice is “expository” preaching, which takes us through a book of the Bible, passage by passage and week by week. There is time for greeting and chatting with people both before and after the service, and we normally serve hot/cold beverages.
Community Groups
Next to Sunday morning attendance, the best way to get plugged in here at Christ Fellowship is to join one of our Community Groups. They generally meet twice a month (except during summer) in the evenings in the homes of small group leaders. We have several groups, which are centered around Bible study, fellowship, prayer, and service. Contact an elder if you would like to get connected to a Community Group.
Bible Study
Weekly small group where we study God’s word, pray with one another, and live the Christian life together.
