Metanoia exist to engage, educate, and equip the Church for the discipleship, mentoring, and reintegration of prisoners.
“My calling into ministry was revealed to me while I was serving time at Walker State Prison. Walker was Georgia's first fully Faith and Character Based program. I was selected to serve as a peer mentor in the program because I wanted to help others. It wasn't until I was saved that I understood that God had a calling on my life to share the Gospel. Since my conversion, much has taken place in my life, and it all started with the mentoring program that Metanoia started at Walker State Prison… I was about four years into my seminary education when it hit me that Gospel ministry was my desire. I started teaching and preaching the Bible from that day forth.”
