Leaders – Content my soul in you O Christ, Who alone are sufficient to my longings.

People – When my heart is beset by wheedling desire for what it does not have. Remind me sweet Jesus that I have no right to a thing simply because it exist.

Leader – The perpetual allure of new innovation does not negate stewardship of the resources you have entrusted to my keeping

People – Content my soul in you O Christ,Who alone are sufficient to my longings. Guard my heart against idols of circuits, sophistication and an upgraded life.

Leader – Content my soul in you, O Christ, Who alone are sufficient to my longings. SPEAK LOUDLY LORD! Louder than the voice of consumption.

People – Let me be content with fewer options. Slower speed. Less diversion, less stuff. Teach me to be content with nothing but you, O CHRIST, you are sufficient to all my longings.

Leader – Teach us O Lord how to employ all your gifts without being owned by them. Teach us that technology is not the end. That your Kingdom will not come through advancing digital platforms. But through the work of your Spirit and the hearts of your people.

ALL – Content my soul in you O Christ, Who alone are sufficient to my longings.

Assurance of Grace – Colossians 3:1-4 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
